There are several area families with limited income who can’t afford to send their eligible children to Summer Sports Camp or special events throughout the year. In order to pre-register the children, the council would appreciate any individuals or businesses to sponsor those families who cannot budget the registration fees for their families.
Sports Camp for one child is $42.00 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and an additional $15.00 per child for the extended Camp from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The camp includes sports, field trips and activities overseen by Park District staff while parents are at work.
Special Event Fees for programs range from $5.00 to $25.00.
The Wolverines Football Team is growing as is their wish list. The Bears Organization supplies game uniforms, helmets and pads. We are requesting donations to purchase shorts and summer T-Shirts for summer practice. $15 per player. Long sleeve T-Shirts to wear under their jerseys on those chilly autumn days, $10 each. Snap On Cleats are $20.00 a pair. Practice begins after the July 4th holiday.
Cheerleader Uniforms The Cheerleading Coach would like to replace the existing uniforms. Any donations for the cheerleaders will be appreciated. Quotes on pricing will be posted when received.
